It's one of those book adaptations that kinda expects you to have read the source material and I think it could be quite confusing if you haven't. That being said it also deviates in good and bad ways.

Tää vaikutti muhun syvästi. Tottakai näistä asioista tietää mutta tän kattominen anto syvempää ymmärrystä ja tietoa. Olin silleen itkun partaalla melkein koko ajan vaikkei kipu tietenkään ole omaa mutta silti. Tää antaa perspektiiviä varastettuihin museoesineisiin ja varastettuihin kuolleisiin ihmisiin.
It's beautiful in a dark way. It immerses one into it's world and pays homage to the source material in such a expansive way. The performances of the main leads are phenomenal and for someone who has seen the 1922 Nosferatu it was fun to spot the similarities while also seeing the new things brought into it. I do have one thing I would change regarding the film but that is a spoiler.
