  Harry Styles' accent(s) was so diverse in this film that he traversed various dialects within England! It stunned my feeling of familiar queer melancholy, forcing me to think again about his accent; and not wallow in tragedy - so thanks I guess.

  Growing up, I had to watch poorly dubbed Dora Matatoa (The Explorer), SpongeBob Tarauporowhā, Penguins of Madagascar and some quirky shows like Māori on Mars (such a fever dream).

  When I went to see the Te Reo Māori version of Lion King my heart was full. Now, I get to see films like Coco in Te Reo Māori before I’ve even watched them in English.

  I’m so excited for the future of film, media and literature being produced in te reo Māori.
