Mac and Me 1988
Definitely a knockoff of ET but it was my favorite as a child. I knew exactly where it was at Blockbuster and rented it out repeatedly. Something about the windmills and the cave and becoming citizens of the United States just hit so good when I was little.

Hell House LLC 2015
scary enough that i had to play candy crush while watching. I‘m generally not a big fan of possession/haunted house type horror movies, so i‘m not surprised by my final rating; however I did enjoy the found footage style of the film. Hell House was an interesting balance between boring and frightening. I found myself more intrigued by the aftermath footage and taping of guests running away than the haunt itself.
