The Monkey 2025
Made me laugh a lot!! Also sorry I love to psychoanalyze shit but really fun commentary on the way generational trauma can ruin you if you don’t stop the cycles. Also maybe it’s jsut im in that kind of headspace lately but I cried a little at one point. I think it has poignant things to say about death. But it does it in an absolutley silly and objectively ridiculous way. Idk ! Sometimes you just see the things in art you need to see!

The Brutalist 2024
Movie that feels like it wants to say a lot but doesn’t actually follow through on saying anything except that all Jews should live in Israel. Very unnecessary and graphic rape scene. And honestly so unfortunate because I really enjoyed the first half of the film before the intermission.
