La Femme Nikita 1990
La Femme Nikita is the perfect mix of ruthless and glamorous. Anne Parillaud fights like a bad bitch, cries like a mess, and still looks like she could ruin your life in a designer dress. Jean Reno stomps in like death itself, but with better style.

The Tracey Fragments 2007
Ion gaf what anyone says this movie rocks. It’s messy, chaotic, disorienting, and that’s exactly why I love it. The split screen madness, the fragmented storytelling, the way the camera angles make you feel just as lost and trapped as Tracey herself it’s pure visual poetry. It doesn’t hold your hand, it doesn’t beg for your approval, it just is, and that’s what makes it brilliant. Ellen Page (back then) absolutelycarrying the whole film with this raw, unfiltered energy.

Jackie Brown 1997
Tarantino’s most grown up film, which is probably why it’s also his most underrated. Instead of the coke fueled chaos like Pulp Fiction, this one moves like a seasoned con artist smooth, deliberate, always one step ahead. Pam Grier is effortlessly cool, Robert Forster is heartbreakingly good, and De Niro playing a dumbass stoner is a weirdly inspired choice.
The thing is, Jackie Brown doesn’t need to flex. No flashy monologues, no gimmicky timelines just pure, confident storytelling. And yet, somehow, people act like this is “Tarantino’s boring one.” Nah. This is the one that proves he can write real characters, not just walking catchphrases.
