Mickey 17 2025
Super fun and funny, not what I was expecting but I really enjoyed it. Robert Pattinson is always at his best when he gets to be unhinged, and it's on full display here. No One Will Save You 2023
An almost entirely dialogue-less alien invasion thriller. It explores themes of guilt and trauma, which is pretty played out at this point and it’s not unique enough to really be special, although it’s fairly competent. The Blob 1958
Holy cow this aged horribly. Characters are all boring and have terrible performances and writing alike. It’s hard to not be bored to tears after a few minutes since 95% of the movie is just dialogue with no purpose. The blob itself hasn’t aged super well in terms of effects but it has some good moments which are the only bits of fun to be found. The cinematography isn’t exciting at all and it’s just a painful experience overall, despite its sort of cult status.
