I didn't expect to say this, but I think the starting point of this film is quite good. the reason why people dislike the film so much is because of its internalized misogyny. Because the woman doesn't realize at the end of the movie that what she did was wrong and moves on with her life. However, as an audience, we expect a mother to be punished for doing such things.

To be a great playwright, you need to be honest to yourself, your life etc. and Richard Gadd achieves this in both of his theater texts. Then he takes it to a tv serie and plays it.
