Smart when smart, dumb when dumb. Knock-knock. Who’s there? Two Mormon missionaries! Hugh Grant answers the door and the absence of heaven or hell breaks loose… slowly.

After the third horror-flick fake out, we settle in for the sermon. The Mormons are in trouble and there are only two options: Choose between two doors that lead into the basement of no return, or try reasoning with a grown man who can’t stop singing Radiohead. The budget for the film allotted for…

I can see myself in both characters, mainly because I, too, am Jewish. Give me one margarita, I’m gonna act like David. Give me two margaritas, I’m gonna act like Benji.

Genuine, heart felt & honest movie about the relationship between two cousins. Eisenberg does an excellent job making them feel like people we know (or might be). Tour guides be damned, you will have a good experience watching this film.

If you love good movies, you’ll hate this one. Not-so-subtle nods to both leading actors’ most prominent roles (Whiplash/The Queen’s Gambit) was the one moment where I whispered to myself half-heartedly, “cool.”

This should exclusively play on airplanes without a working headphone jack. Even then, I’m choosing Ratatouille.

Great movie for the theatre. Call Eggers what you will, he will always put the audience intimately into the setting of his films.

Willem Dafoe and Nosferatu deserved to be on screen together, though the latter’s little dog man earned a few chuckles. Wasn’t as scary as it was gross.

For those who are scared and may have nightmares- try to imagine Steve Buscemi as The Count. Maybe that’s worse?
