Gone Girl 2014
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
an endlessly rewatchable satire on modern 'romance' and a deeply reflective work of art.
it is no secret that david fincher is a master of his craft, and gone girl continues to speak for itself time after time. watching this film once is not enough, as the nuances built into each character, each scene, each sound is worthy of watching. this film is on the lengthier side, but goes by just as quickly as any lighthearted 90 minute comedy due…

Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2010
i do not know any combination of letters that can properly capture my love for this film and the rest of the trilogy.

Heart Eyes 2025
though my expectations were low going in, this didn't even meet the low bar i set... you could tell me this was an AI-generated script and i would not argue.
i thought the opening scene was a parody, but no, it was indeed just part of the movie. that's just about how i felt during the entirety of its runtime. the script.. acting.. editing.. every component felt cheugy. i believe the intention was to replicate a classic 80s slasher, but what resulted was a wattpad reminiscent teenager's high school English project.
good lord almighty.

The Mummy 1999
really. like this is not nearly old enough to excuse the anti arab rhetoric and caricatures. also, has nobody on the production team ever spoken to an egyptian person? or frankly any arab for that matter? “Allah” does not constitute as arabic conversation. appalling.

It's Such a Beautiful Day 2012
perhaps insightful for someone who has never had to critically think ever. will never forgive the positive reviews on this!
there’s something out there along the lines of “men will discover things at the age of 30 that women discovered during middle school” … this is a prime example.
