This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I liked it a lot even though I'm definitely not a fan of the Dubai-Advertisement in this one.
After the Concert-Movie though I felt a little unsatisfied/empty, cause it ended in silence rather than a complete boom (idk, what else to call it .-.). I think you could've gotten even more power or emotions out of each soundtrack.

The absolute highlights for me were Lion King (goosebumps I tell ya), Pirates, Wonder Women and the Dune part at the beginning.
This is one movie I had a lot of expectations for, because seemingly almost everybody liked it and it got a lot of praise.
It won an Oscar, as the first international (non-american) production etc. etc.
That also meant, that I was very scared I might not like it at all or not as good as almost everyone else, but damn.

If you look at it objectively, Johnnie deserved a better girlfriend. 😅
What a great silent film, the effort and time it took to realize it.
To imagine that this was a financial desaster at time of the release and later on became one of the best silent movies is crazy.
First Impression (not even 30 minutes after finished watching):

It was terrifying in approx. the first half, but the whole time it was also entertaining, as well as intriguing.
To see the character getting pushed to the brink of undergoing surgery cause he thinks it's just the right decision, he can feel more comfortable (also, Edward thinks everybody wouldn't be comfortable with him the way he is) and…
