This was adapted literally word for word, panel for panel, frame for frame from the comic book. Which sounds like it would be a good thing but it just lead to poor pacing and very quick dialogue that was hard to process. They also used DC’s new age 3D animation style that’s fucking uglyyyyy (jagged edges, no weight, looks like damn paw patrol) which forced them to underutilize the vibrant colors that the original comic was known for. I respect that they tried to stay true to the source material, but Watchmen should have stayed a comic book.

A Real Pain 2024
I’ve seen Succession before, so Kieran Culkin saying the F-word and being a dick didn’t really entice me. And that’s all this movie really has going for it. The heart string tugging and human heartfelt parts of this movie weren’t terribly unique or interesting. This one missed the mark for me
