The Monkey 2025
This film is peak Stephen King material. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, though. In an era where awful movies like “Annabelle” are forced down our throats, this is a nice change of pace.

It’s not awful for found footage but the main character is an insufferable Trump supporter anti vaxxer who never shuts up about how she’s not conforming and is an outsider. For some reason, the films offers 0 growth for the main character Annie, after even she dragged her ex band mate into this mess. This movie just reinforces the fact that a lot of white people should stop trying so hard to rap. Her “band car” live stream is the basis for this movie and it’s just stupid. The monster is cool and would like to see more, just maybe a different story behind it

Alright setting and decent lighting aside
, I have no idea why this movie was even made. For starters, it’s supposed to be part of this “universal monsters universe” and majority of those reboots have been a complete waste of time, in my opinion. This banal plot is no different.This entire movie is basically a home invasion film about “werewolves” or ‘wolfmen’ that look nothing like. Werewolf at all, it’s more so a harry version of I am legend…
