  I kept wanting it to make more sense until I realized the more it made sense the less it felt real and the mystery of Hollywood, fame and heartbreak was able to be tied up in a feeling besides uneasy happenstance without definite ending.

  The subversive direction didn't subverse and felt more overt though the mechanics of the Unicorn were fascinating, the brutal killings were the only shocking things about the movie. Visually fun though.
