    Every movie themed Instagram account I’ve ever seen has included at least one post about this movie and after seeing it I get it. Nearly all of the dialogue is just SO good. And the cast is insane, everyone owns their role so well, especially Javier Bardem who is kinda scary with how well he plays a psychopath.

    This is only slightlyyy worse than the original which is pretty impressive all things considered. Feels like it could be its own standalone movie, but also like a perfect continuation of the first. The plot line with the bat goddess chick made absolutely no sense, but otherwise all the new characters were fun and unique and not over the top annoying. Plus they made Moana a baddie, which I respect.

    This movie has SUCH a good set up and build. The first half was really intriguing, and Hugh Grant gave an amazing performance. He nailed being creepy, yet semi-trustworthy, but you still knew he was messing with you the whole time. And he did a lot of it with really subtle facial expressions or just the way he would say a line. Also his speech on religion…

    Finally saw this and it does match the hype. One of the most stacked casts of any movie ever and the soundtrack is just phenomenal. And in true Nolan fashion, he makes it just confusing enough to where you can’t quite keep track of everyone being mentioned, almost like he’s daring you to rewatch it to really get the deeper message. For some of his movies (cough tenet) it can be over the top, but I think it really worked…
