A lot more human than I was expecting this to be, and a lot more interrogative of the south’s role in the enforced segregation. I find it really interesting how he has the obvious issues with the north, but is not complacent with the southern ideologies or America’s role in modern Korea. It’s also exciting as his stuff usually can be, but unfortunately the English dialogue and scenes in general just could not have been more forced.
