  i found this a little bit hard to follow at times, but i also thought the plot seemed a little bit empty? like there was something missing. i’m not sure if it was purpose driven or simply a chapter in time that explored a connection. either way i didn’t feel like either of the characters were developed enough for their romance to spark something in the audience?

  the first part of this film was visually quite mesmerising. but unfortunately some beautiful light flares and the romanticising of adolescent livelihood is all it has to offer. so very very disappointed by this - a real opportunity to develop meaning, character and depth, however i felt no attachment to anora or any of the other characters or their relationships at all.
