This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
From a horror standpoint, the movie was fine, but I feel like it had unique opportunity to send a message about letting go of, or finally accepting, trauma, and moving on. Instead, it opted for the cheap “it was all a dream, she never really left” trope. That being said, the scares were excellent. Tension was built effectively and broken just as effectively, and it did definitely get me.
