I finished reading the first six chapters of The Hobbit, which this film is based on, so I figured to avoid binging all three of these movies at the end it was best to revisit this one now.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim 2024
This was pretty good. If you’re expecting a decent animated medieval fantasy movie then you’ll be very happy, if you’re expecting a Lord of the Rings movie akin to the original trilogy you’ll probably be disappointed.
I really love the characters in this and it explored femininity and the patriarchy in Rohan way more intricately than I was personally expecting (I think LOTR notoriously lacking in deep female characters definitely props this movie up a bit).
