I'll forever be devastated I didn't watch this in the cinema. It was gripping... I was sweating... not a lot of films manage to evoke such a nerve-filled physical reaction from me, not because I'm not invested, but because I just can't feel what the characters are feeling well enough... This is nothing like that.

How far would you go for greatness?
    Whiplash went all the way.
    5 stars.

Anyone can cook <3 (except me tho ngl...)

A really fun family film that I've loved for years and years.

I don't think I have any criticisms tbh, it does exactly what it should in the most entertaining way possible.

    A personal fav from Pixar/

Not THE greatest film of all time, but MY favourite film of all time. I would give it 6 stars if I could. The dialogue, the pacing, the soundtrack, the cinematography (!!!); this is the most beautiful experience I've ever had.

People say this film makes you fall in love with Timmy or Italy but not me. CMYBN made me fall in love with life itself <3

  • Saltburn

    Saltburn

    ★★★½

I feel I love the idea of Saltburn more than the film itself. In other words, to me, its aesthetic is stronger than its plot.

While I was watching (and trying not to be distracted by Jacob Elordi), I found myself rewriting scenes in my mind. Not to say I didn't enjoy it, because I did, but I feel as though by giving it a higher rating I would be judging it based on what I WANT it to be, not what it is.
