  Different from what I expected, in quite a good way. It's a lot more comedic and fun than one might originally expect, which does in turn make it feel pretty unique. There were definitely some plot contrivances that didn't fully make sense, but it doesn't really ruin the experience.   Pretty good considering it was made on a small budget. I've seen a movie with a much higher budget and a very similar premise that was A LOT worse. The acting was questionable at times, but the lead carried the movie perfectly with her naturality. Some of the dialogue was clunky at times, but in other scenes it felt genuine and realistic. There were plenty of fun set pieces, and that paired with the short duration and overall unserious tone of the film make for an easy-going horror that's the definition of a popcorn horror flick
