As far as Marvel original movies are concerned, this one ranks pretty high up there for me. The storyline is fantastic, with a Horatio Alger in reverse, and then back again, type fate. Loved that aspect. Introducing a new character, and having him be a part of the MCU in a brilliant way. Not quite Iron Man, Thor, or GoTG, but it holds its own on any sit-alone viewing.

As far as horror films are concerned, this one is just another movie. It’s wouldn’t hold a candle to Paranormal Activity or The Conjuring, but it has some decent jump scares and the paranormal stuff always gets me. Not bad for an $8M budget. Good for a movie night with your lady or an October lineup.

Easily the best of the Bond films with Daniel Craig — action sequences, screenplay, and scenery, all brilliant. Of course, also pulled the heart strings with the ending, which was perfect. Great movie, would watch any time in a stand-alone sitting on a Friday movie night.
