    How does it feel?
    To be without a home.
    Like a complete unknown.
    Like a rolling stone.

A touching biopic about one of the greatest artists of the century.
Wonderful performances from an ensemble cast, led by Timothée Chalamet.

I enjoyed this film, however I must say for me it felt like it was all over the place at times. The pacing of the movie felt very disconnected in many parts, with just hopping to the next point in Dylan’s…

There was once a dream that was Rome…”

A remarkable sequel to the first.
I had hoped this movie wouldn’t be a carbon copy of the first film, and it absolutely was not!
An incredible interweaving of power, the ruthlessness of politics, and epic performances from everyone involved. I loved it.
Shout out to Paul Mescal who delivers on every level. And another thing, this film is gorgeous. At so many moments it felt like a painting.
Loved it. Go see it for yourself!

    Everybody’s looking for something.

Some of them want to use you.
Some of them want to get used by you.
Some of them want to abuse you.
Some of them want to be abused.

Strange and powerful. Domination. Control. Chaos & Madness. Curated with a remarkable ensemble, incredible direction from Yorgos Lanthimos, and out of this world cinematography, Kinds of Kindness is one of the best films of the year thus far.

P.S. - Yorgos really is just popping these bangers out left and right.

    The Zone of Interest

    ★★★★½

    Gut-wrenching. Harrowing and horrifying.

This account of a crucial moment in our history shows just what can happen when people fall complicit to everything that surrounds them. People waking up, eating, gently cleaning the garden, while unspeakable acts of horror happen on the other side of their very own wall.
And in the audience hearing those acts.
The sound design of this film is absolutely haunting. Moments that make you sit, and listen.

The Zone of Interest is terrifying. Showing just what can happen when humans fall complicit, and evil slowly seeps in and grabs hold of all it can.
