  This made me teary-eyed on a Delta flight 🥺 A shame more people didn’t see this, Keaton and Kunis are both brilliant! The score is often over-dramatic, but that’s a small complaint for an otherwise solid movie the likes of which are rarely made anymore.

  At it’s best when it’s not uncomfortably forcing music terminology into the dialogue. There are times when this dipped pretty low for me. But I think that if you’re are able to see it through to the end, it works out finely.

  I do wish this wasn’t trying to be so many things at once. I’m much more interested in the personal myth-making engaged in by so called “legends” than I am in another fairly drab “me too” story that’s never really seen through. Cate is electric and surrounded by a strong cast. I just wish this was more focused.

Following
