I've always been the type of person to like more serious films grounded in reality, but the themes in this movie make it my all-time favorite film. Selina Kyle is a timid woman who, after having a supernatural metamorphosis, becomes a strong, tough, confident woman during the day and a sexy, strong, and free Catwoman at night. She is free and in control of her own story. Her tragedy eventually ends in sparks, but even then, she was in control…

Blow Out 1981
This does it for me. This is the type of thing that gets me pumped. Definitely one of the smartest films I've ever seen, with its constant twists and a plot that keeps you hooked the second you hit play. Containing some of the most mesmerizing shots on film, audio that is unbelievable, and a score that is heart-wrenching. Go watch this. Go study it. It's art at its finest.
