  “The Stepford Wives” is a social commentary, a satirical thriller on patriarchal views. It has been 50 years since the film's release, yet the issue it depicts remains fitting in today's issue. 

  This film successfully delivers its satirical elements, sci-fi, thriller, and horror. It does not have many disturbing scenes that may consist blood or violence, but it gives a terrifying feeling, it is a scary way to depict what would happen if a high society group leads by patriarchal men controls and realizes their fantasies of having a “perfect” wife.

  i’m a little bit late to watch this (watching it on christmas would be a better decision). But hey, The Holdovers is a warmhearted movie with a sweet touch to the story. A classic enjoyable christmas watch, an example of what a ‘kind’ movie is. it also plays with your emotions, you laugh, you smile, you’re sad.
