The film was beautiful Gothic horror which I can only define as "metal as fuck". For subjective negatives, I felt the final scenes were less horror and more tragedy, and the tonal change lessened the climax for me. The jumpscares were just a tad gratuitous for me, as well.

Dispute numerous inaccuracies from the real story, this movie was all the fun you expect from Guy Ritchie and an unhinged Henry Cavill leading.
Ritchie's latest films, this one included, have been rather odd with the pacing. I can't put my finger on how, but it does feel like his story beats are... shifted? ....warped? I can't quite place it. It's not bad, just odd.
It's almost as if the final edit meant to have a narrator throughout but doesn't, if that makes sense.
