  Slept, woke up to the same scene, fell asleep again, woke up again in the same scene still. They were on that damn train for fucking hours it seems. This movie has the depth of a local frozen yogurt shops sample spoon. 

  Only reason it gets ANY stars is the action/choreo

  If an animated movie can bring tears to my eyes then it will get at least 4. For me it doesn’t get anything more than 4 because it isn’t groundbreaking and won’t be particularly remembered. Still a great movie that’s tug on real human emotional experiences causes you to relate in a way that makes it hard not to appreciate.

  Raw, Unfiltered, Unapologetic
  A love letter to cinema and its evolution as well as its impact. But also an acknowledgment of the disturbing truth of Hollywood’s development. This movie is purposeful in its use of chaos and excessiveness to display the energy of early film in Hollywood. As well as contrasting this to the suffocating social expectations seen in its renaissance. It’s hard to find fault in the movie without nitpicking details and creative decisions. Babylon deserves to be talked about for a very long time.

  I do not know how someone could possibly not like this movie. This movie exudes the same feelings as sipping coffee while your grandfather indulges you with his wisdom. It is emotional, It is warm, it is thoughtful, It makes you feel like you are on the receiving end of the biggest hug imaginable. 
  I don’t know if it gets any better than this.
