Not something I’d be dying to see again because (1) it’s just not my kind of movie, don’t love horror, and (2) we’ve seen a hundred variations of this kind of story. But it was well done for being another post-apocalyptic/sickness story and Trey Edward Schults definitely shows promise.

Black Bag 2025
A lot of fun! It makes up for very conventional plot devices with very dynamic dialogue and interactions between the characters. Fassbender and Blanchett work incredibly well as a duo.
Wasn’t sure how this euro compare to Presence because the premise seemed extra cheesy, but it was the better of Soderbergh’s films this year.
