Jackass 3D 2010
Ah, the era of everything being in 3D. The budget is enormous in this film & they absolutely make the most of it. The constant slow motion shots are both incredibly fun & incredibly beautiful, slow motion can make anything look spectacular (the kicks to the face are exquisite).

Jackass Number Two 2006
The budget went up & so did the size and grandeur of the stunts. This film steps up the fun, the way they are always pulling smaller pranks on one another is fun, including the little snake stunt with Bam in the back of the trailer, a prelude to a far more brutal snake prank in the next film.
It’s just chaos & fun, I completely adore it.

Another film where a bunch of unlikeable characters make dumb decisions, exceeding the allowed limit for stupidity in horror films. A group of high schoolers decide they want to getaway to a cabin for the weekend but rather than drive cars they own they opt to steal a school bus (of course) which breaks down in the middle of nowhere (of course). When they go looking for help they find an abandoned creepy house and decide to all go inside…

I mean, it’s awful isn’t it. I adore Mortal Kombat & I know this film is from an era where fighting games were adapted into absolutely terrible movies but jeez.
I’ve watched bits and pieces before but never sat through the whole film. It obviously has funny moments, due to who had it is, and it has its charm due to that and it being Mortal Kombat but the casting (sorry, kasting) of Raiden has to be one of the worst…
