Dune 2021
Just a masterpiece.
After finishing the book, the one main aspect of the adaptation that I wish was done better was the Atreides awareness and understanding that there was a plot against them. The book fully commits to their understanding of their danger and a traitor amidst them vs the movie making them appear oblivious. Yueh’s motivations are also a lot more fleshed out in the book. Aside from that, part one is just a near masterful adaptation, and many of the other storyline changes Denis went for to make this work as a film are just really fucking perfect tbh.

My player comp for Mr. The Killer is Paul George:
He’s for sure nice with it and is meticulous and methodical in his craft but definitely gets in the way of himself sometimes and occasionally has some stinkers. He’s got the way he wants it to go in his head , then how it actually plays out. He wants to be perfect and is always pursuing it, but sometimes can’t.
