  I have a really complicated feeling about this film. On one hand it is just a linear story film with some plot-holes and a time reversing system that seems to be separated from the story. On the other hand, Nolan is doing something that a lot of us can’t do which is to logically explain an imagination. The action choreography is amazing and so is the actor and editors. I really think it deserves a 3 star but I really appreciate the work the crew had done.

  Interesting film.
  Fresh perspective.
  Most acts in the film to a point closely represent part of the Chinese culture.

  Weird dialogues seems like Lulu Wang made it that way to help western audiences understand the delivery of the language better.

  Also translation of multiple lines doesn't sound natural to many native speakers 
  我不能告诉他 vs 我不告诉他
  纽约城市 vs 纽约

  Other than that most plots are relatable, but some connection between the sequences are not held strongly.

  Very heart warming to see a "American film" bring the perspective of a American born Chinese and her journey experiencing cultural shocks.
