The Menu 2022
Ana Taylor-Joy continues to prove why she’s one of the best young actresses in the game with her performance in this one. The film fell exactly where I expected an Adam McKay production to. Unique presentation, great writing, and an underlying theme that makes you think about the state of the world we live in. It’s not easy to pull off a script that hardly leaves one setting, but he did just that.

Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
Exceeded my pretty high expectations given the time in between movies. No it isn’t revolutionary storytelling or script writing; but the visuals (& sound), lack of dead space, and ability to tap into relatable themes and emotions make it one of my most enjoyable theater experiences in a very long time.
