Alien: Romulus 2024
A film with gross setpieces and even more disgusting uses of AI. From recreating dead actors and exploiting their likenesses for no reason at all, to reciting lines from the other movies (also for no reason at all) Alien: Romulus never amounts to any of the intrigue established in the first act. Rather, it devolves into nothing more than a well shot fan film with no moral backbone. What a waste.
