The Last Stop in Yuma County 2023
I think the cinematography is good, the style, colours, costume and composition were all very well styled and feel very familiar to other films of this genre . It really gives me Route 96 vibes , ik it’s a video game but something about these two feel very similar and I love it. It gives a Tarantino type of vibe, feels like a familiar type of story, and iconography. 4 stars!

At the 15/20 minute mark I knew, for me, this was an instant 4*, after that, whenever Funny Sonny (Norman Reedus) joined I was at 4.5*, I think the the concept of Johnny (Tom Hardy) trying to manipulate Benny (Austin Butler) but in almost a loving, endearing way was brought displayed excellently. As a 20-year old lad, watching two of my all time favourite superheros/antihero’s come together and fight, fail and fuck around was a carthartic experience for the 10-year old me, from playing on that playground as the two characters to watching it on the big screen, was a feeling I’d never felt before. Funny, visually pleasant, crude, and overall a blast of a time.
