  #4 on my Top 100 OAT. A perennial classic and masterpiece, even when compared to its predecessor. A testament to the innovative, and borderline arrogant, creative risk taking which defined the renaissance years of 70s Hollywood. Gene Hackman in Scheider's role would've flipped this thing on its head. Happily taking this BluRay with me back to college.
