The Brutalist is an incredibly immersive and visually jaw-dropping film. I was unsure if it would live up to the buzz and hype that was generated at festivals but it generated feelings in me that few films have.

First off, this film was so dense. Never did it feel like there was a moment wasted. I feel like there's so much I missed! Cuckoo also was unexpectedly very open-ended? There is so much content here to chew on in it's hour and 42 minute runtime it's kinda crazy.
Hunter Schafer and Dan Steven's are both really great here. I love how goofy Hunter is in this- she really excels here and I wanna see her in more projects.…
