Bottoming with spit as lube, no prep, and a stomach full of beans is INSANE…

This movie was such a moment especially for doll collectors. I’m major biased but even people that don’t care about dolls or Barbie in general can enjoy this movie. So many people were dressed up in pink and one cool lady dressed up as Workin’ Out Barbie and of course I caught the reference. 

Anyway, about the movie. There was a lot of messages that could apply to society and it’s crazy that a BARBIE movie did this.

One of my favorite movies of all time...the stylist did not miss! Cher was the blueprint for all of Emma Robert’s roles (see AHS coven and Scream Queens)

In a world full of Heathers, be a Veronica. 

This is my second time watching it and I gave it a 3 and a half because I didn’t give it my undivided attention but watching it again I really fell in love with it. I love bitchy teen movies that explore dynamics between the popular girl cliques and I feel like the social hierarchy is relevant no matter where you go. I also really loved the use of lighting/color to represent each of the girls.

After separating the book from the movie I was able to enjoy it a lot.

It takes a lot for me to give a movie less than 3 stars but I feel like it tried to do too many things at once

The movie was so faithful to the book I already knew what was coming but seeing it acted out made it feel like a brand new story omg.

I started watching this with absolutely no idea what it was going to be about. I only wanted to watch it cause y’all know I love a good bitchy 90s teen movie lol. This movie is actually so genius in a campy way. RuPaul playing a conversion camp instructor, the female instructor Mary wearing cunty outfits and basically being a gay icon, the 60s styling and the set design…I luv it. Also loved that this had a happy ending because even though it’s a comedy the whole premise is kind of dark as fuck.
