  My favorite movie of 2024.  Just beautifully written and acted all the way around.  This deserved much more love than it received.  The Marketing team didn’t help but regardless this is a fantastic movie that everyone should watch.

  Talk about Marketing a movie.  Came into this expecting a lot and it mostly delivers with the atmosphere, cinematography/editing and acting but I guess I was hoping for just a little bit more.  Oz Perkins (son of the great Anthony Psycho Perkins) takes a very deliberate approach to this movie and you gotta appreciate the attention to detail and clear queues he takes from many a great horror movie.  The one scene in the car with Nicky Cage is so Nick Cage though that I couldn’t move past anything else.  Feels like a movie that requires a second watch.

  lol what.  Surprise surprise senile Ridley Scott made an absolutely ridiculous movie that didn’t have to be made and is highly questionable in so many ways it would be impossible to list here.  I love how he shits on Quentin about quitting movie making and then you see a cash grab dementia ridden movie like this and you understand that this guy should’ve stopped after Exodus (Gods and Kings).  That movie was so bad I can’t even fathom the idea…
