  Antonioni does an amazing job at capturing everything that isn’t said (slight glances, looking away before eyes can ever meet, cold embrace, teardrops nobody will see, etc). I think that emphasis is why I love so many of his films and will continue to come back to them (despite soul crushing endings like the one in here).
