Poor Things 2023

For as bad as this could have gone, it’s a success. That’s not to say it’s good, but 2020’s Sonic The Hedgehog has at least shown the potential that a good movie based off of a very odd premise of a video game property is out there somewhere.

Barbie has a great actress in Margot Robbie and a fantastic comedic performance out of Ryan Gosling, always a personal favorite actor of mine. The production design in Barbieland and the wardrobe of the film is also a highlight.
