Lives up to the hype. Hits extremely hard without trying too hard. I loved Boiling Point, but think I love this more. It is prescient, powerful and so incredibly well made. Episode 3 is such a powerhouse of drama, I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it.

It’s a movie I need to see a second time, maybe more before understanding how I feel about it. All of the major gripes people seem to have about this movie I don’t think are off the mark, but I can’t help feeling this was all done with intent. It’s either completely self-indulgent or masterful. I just haven’t made up my mind yet. I will reevaluate my score and review after further viewings.
