  Fantastic…but I want a full length feature of those slick Fincher looking dramatisations as well. I found Eric Olson’s turn of phrase absolutely captivating and you couldn’t have found a better narrator for this. The loss of Eric’s self is the real tragedy here.   1997 - 2003 peak rain films. From Se7en to Identity, soggy movies never looked as good as they did during this era. Mangold’s corny ass Identify is no exception. Absolutely stunning to look at. Man I miss Ray Liotta. No one could play an asshole like that man.

  A collection of 4 short stories, each perfectly capturing the tropes and diff moods of Ishii’s films.

  In ‘Street Noise’ we get a dose of urban alienation and clenched fists scored by air conditioner hum and errr, street noise. Gorgeous! Would have loved a full length feature of this.

  ‘Bicycle’ is a bittersweet meeting of two young women zooming around Tokyo on a teeny deep thoughts bike trip.
