  I’m happy that this exists, happy that it made money thanks to having a low(-ish) budget and that it released in theatres but sad at the wasted potential. The dialogue is underwhelming and the edit says nothing.

  It is insulting that this movie did not receive any Oscars. I wasn’t fully aware about who Paul Schrader is until I finished this one. Ethan Hawke was so precise and acted this character with so much care that the film is worth watching for that alone,but nonetheless everything in it is marvelous.
  Also, comparisons are hateful yadayadayada, but this was a much better and more effective take on climate change and today’s activism than Don’t Look Up.

  this was the first time I experienced IMAX 70mm and let me tell you I had very mixed feelings: I’m glad it wasn’t Nolan but also did it have to be this?
