    This was fun.

You know what’s going to happen from the first frame, but I felt like the fact it goes in some new directions with it gave it more originality and freshness than others in this genre.

Short, concise, simple, effective, and Duplass is unnervingly convincing. Some decent scares in there too.

A great way to spend a little over an hour.

Sometimes a film just itches a scratch you had, and today it was Robert Pattinson in the Australian post-apocalyptic bush in a quasi-western dystopian thriller.

What I loved about it is its matter-of-factness. No grandeur, no exposition, no show, no unnecessary scenes. It just got on with telling the story, brutally, and I think the fact it manages to do this with so little dialogue is so impressive.

So well shot, directed and acted (Pearce and especially Pattinson are superb). The plot is pretty jinky, but I couldn’t help but enjoy it a huge amount.

    A great little B movie.

Stunning film, that feels uncomfortably relevant following the events of the last 10 years (Brexit, Wars in the East, globally declining birth rates).

A classic, with some incredible set pieces.

Been keeping this one off a while, but I loved it.

A while since I’ve been so captivated and entertained by a horror. Gruesome, frightening stuff, but executed so well.

Definitely see the Kill List influences though (objectively a more disturbing film), or is it just me?
