Rhymes for Young Ghouls 2013
A great movie, I loved the combo of live action and animation, and the blending of reality and paranormal. The tone is extremely grave, but still peppered with classic Indigenous humor. The characters were lovable and endearing, and very easy to root for in their endeavors.

Lights Out 2016
I thought this was a really fun movie, although it had a bit of an outdated 2004 vibe. The story was interesting and the pacing was good. I agree with the reviews that say the metaphor is gross and ableist, but I think it was an accurate depiction of someone with mental health struggles, and it was a scary af ghost movie at face value. I will def be sleeping with the lights on tonight 💡
