  i've always avoided this movie and when i finally watched it i felt like i wasted my time. i cant even fully explain how much i dislike the plot, it felt hollow and unengaging. just because its framed through elios eyes doesn’t mean the dynamics of the relationship should be excused or romanticized. the only redeeming quality was the visuals, but there nothing truly profound to understand. while i know every movie has a meaning i just didn’t connect with…
