Boogie Nights 1997
By far my favorite movie I have ever seen since the first time I watched it. It is as close to a perfect movie you can get. The one shots(the cinematography in general), the music (both the soundtrack and the score) and of course the incredible performances from the entirety of the amazing ensemble cast (easily Burt Reynolds best performance of his career, regardless of how he feels about it🤣). It’s a movie that gets better every time you watch it and will always be one of the biggest influences on the way I view art and film.

Beau Is Afraid 2023
This movie was incredible. Ari aster is a heavy hitting newer director on the scene that I think will continue to make interesting and original films. While I absolutely love both “hereditary” and “midsommar” this is by far my favorite movie of Ari Aster film. And of course yet another astounding performance from Joaquin Phoenix. I found the anxiety and emotion he is experiencing very relatable to normal every day circumstance. Cannot wait to see what comes next from this director.
