Tbh movie is kinda mid but Nicole Kidman slays as per usual… if Covid hadn’t of happened this movie would’ve been more of a flop but watching this through a post pandemic lens definitely added more interest to some of the dialogue.
There were a few thought provoking moments sprinkled throughout about civilian complacency & the subtle yet aggressive change of becoming other. Some parts were a bit too eerie & too #real about controlled narratives when it comes to public health & safety. Very unsettling how people in positions of power were the first to be infected, and those who weren’t infected were silenced 😗

Beautiful compositions, u can tell a lot of thought went into the lighting & set designs. I love a psychological thriller and the subtle way this movie portrays the stranger danger / satanic panic of the 70-90s. The framed pics of bill Clinton in the FBI office sets this movie in the late 90s. This means Longlegs would’ve first visited Harper in the mid-late 70s (I forgot what year was actually said)…
