I just finally read Maus and loved them, so I was really intrigued to learn more about the man behind them.

As someone new to graphic novels and Spiegelman, I found this doc interesting and informative, but I see how people who already knew this base level info would want more.

With how fast my mind whirs around, it’s hard to find a movie that grabs my attention and forces me to sit still, but from the very first scene in A Real Pain, I was hooked.

The confusion, hurt, and pain that comes with realizing someone you thought you knew—is someone entirely different—is something I’ve never seen handled this devastatingly honest.

What I love most about this film is how we can relate to every single character and the fact…

These movies raised me. I love them so much.
With that being said, I finally read the books and saw how different the book characters are.
I’ve learned to appreciate them separately because they both are incredible.
Book Peeta is my everything. I would die for him.
Same goes for Katniss. When I was 10 or 11 watching these movies for the first time, they genuinely altered the course of my life. I wouldn’t be who I am without them.

Anyways, also sobbed my way through this one. Every time I watch these movies I always want to start a revolution. Suzanne Collins is too good.
