Racist (white man savior swoops in to save black and brown people), Arab cultural appropriation, science fiction but really it looks like every US military involvement in the Middle East. You’d think that a fantasy sci-fi world wouldn’t look exactly like our current one but I guess no one has an imagination these days. If I could give this zero stars I would. DOES NOT pass the bechdal test. Women r just sex objects and plot points , the writing is bad. Truly no critical lens, it’s not even about the horrors of atomic bombs, like wtf it’s just a Cold War drama like... Weird uncomfortable sex scenes that were unnecessary. The neon graphics interspersed looked like a computer screensaver from 2010. This is a white man movie for sure. #flopenhiemer
